“The price of the meal bundle was $25.39”

Intended to feed four people, or $6.35 per person.

That’s the point of the law. There are no “unintended consequences.” They are all quite “intended.”

About tens years ago our McDonald’s had a special one night per week for a few hours. It was a 20 piece nugget for $3.99 and you could get two of them.

“A recent study by FinanceBuzz found that McDonald’s prices have increased by 100% since 2014.”

And I’d wager that TWO THIRDS of that price increase is since 2021 when Brandon screwed everything up.

They are obfuscating things by throwing in the low-inflation Trump years.

As a young’un, 5 in 1960, I remember dad
pulling into a McDonals in his ‘57 Olds.
No drive-thru back then. He ordered at the
walk up window. Burgers were 10 for a buck.
Large order of fries was a nickle, as was
a large coca-cola.

1 large McD’s fries = 150 grams

The nutrition label on a 10/lb bag of Walmart potatoes shows 30 servings at 148 grams each. That bag costs $5.57 which comes to <0.19 per serving.

20 piece nuggets = 323 grams

Walmart’s skinless boneless chicken breast (the most expensive piece of chicken) = $2.67/lb. There are 456 grams per lb. So, the box would be 71% of a pound and that’s counting the breading and oil costing $2.48 if made at home.

$2.48 + $0.19 = $2.67 each or a 40 piece McD’s Bundle = $5.34 and no tax on grocery store bought food for a savings of $21.65 for homemade. Guaranteed you can get the chicken price waaaay down.

I predict that California will screw itself up and the rest of us, through our Federal Government, will bail them out.

I honestly don’t know what people are bitching about. It says serves 4, I’d probably say more like 3, but really show anywhere you can feed 2 for $25, it’s actually a good deal. Stop whining.
