We need to put signs out, all over the border and the coast, saying ‘Trespassers will be prosecuted and may be subject to deadly force’. Signs similar to these were not uncommon in my childhood neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. The people coming into our country illegally, and particularly by using the cartels etc. for passage, are committing a crime. They are not ‘migrants’.
I counted 19. All rather able bodied to run across a beach.
I am all for shooting the invaders. This is war. Mexico has been invading us for years and needs to pay a price.
Why should any young American put on his country’s uniform when his very country is being given away to anyone who dares to invade it? What us a young serviceman/woman asked to defend but illegal migrants.

Interesting Carlsbad memory.
Many moons ago, the braniacs in Carlsbad wanted to ‘save’ the beach, so they paid $$mucho$$ for tons of sand to be deposited on the beach. There were no other alterations to the coast. No cement or stone additions that would ‘break’ the actions and energy of ocean waves. So....when the next big storm hit the coast of Carlsbad, much more the sand was washed away.
