Not guilty. Age of consent is 16 in NE. Kid goes to college in a few weeks. I bet his arm hurts from all the high fives he’ll be getting this week.
NE has a law against school employees engaging in sex with students. So it’s not the age of consent, it’s the position of authority.
If instead of working for the school, she set up a taco stand next to the school, she could have served the kid all day long.
What about the teacher’s husband? Will he be getting high fives, too?
Some states have an enhanced sentence for those in a position of authority over the child. Don’t know if this applies here though.
