That’s why I like ‘Dune’ novels. Ships don’t ‘travel’ they are transported in huge Guild Heighliners that carry hundreds of ships simultaneously.
Guild Navigators, immersed in pure Spice Gas tanks, ‘Fold Space’ with their minds and the Heighliners and their cargo of ships just move into the new location and the Navigators then allow ‘space’ to resume it’s normal aspect.............
Yeah...and that works great until the Guild Navigators get a Diversity Equity and Inclusion program going....then you never know where your gonna land, or even if they allow space to resume correctly.
