A storm dumps record rain across the desert nation of UAE and floods Dubai's airport

The desert nation of the United Arab Emirates attempted to dry out Wednesday from the heaviest rain ever recorded there after a deluge flooded out Dubai International Airport, disrupting flights through the world's busiest airfield for international travel.

The state-run WAM news agency called the rain Tuesday “a historic weather event” that surpassed “anything documented since the start of data collection in 1949.” That's before the discovery of crude oil in this energy-rich nation then part of a British protectorate known as the Trucial States.

Rain also fell in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. However, the rains were acute across the UAE.

One possible contributor may have been “cloud seeding,” in which small planes operated by the government fly through clouds burning special salt flares. Those flares can increase precipitation.

Several reports quoted meteorologists at the National Center for Meteorology as saying they flew six or seven cloud-seeding flights before the rains. Flight-tracking data analyzed by The Associated Press showed one aircraft affiliated with the UAE’s cloud-seeding efforts flew around the country Monday.

When it rains in this part of the world they generally get flooding. They don’t build their infrastructure to account for heavy rain as it’s such a rare event.

Not so amazing but the author after explaining it was the earth’s tilt changing the caused the climate change went on to suggest that 11,000 years ago it was humans and goats that may have cause it!!! They never admit when they are wrong.

I’ve read that they do cloud seeding.

when cloud seeding is done in the us west—there is generally an increase of about 10 percent in total rain for a given widespread area.

The Persian Gulf has received a lot of rain lately.

There were airplanes trying to land in Dubai yesterday that had to circle the airport for hours.

I used to travel there often on business and recall a photo on the front page of the local English language paper, the Khaleej Times, showing a grinning old bedouin holding up a football size clump of snow toward the sky. It had snowed buckets overnight in the desert outside Sharjah. Probably occurs only once every hundred years or so, but events like that and this one (deserts always flood in heavy rain) do happen naturally.

I personally believe the ‘cloud seeding stories’

Now the MSM is espousing ‘climate change’ so the cloud seeding story will be axed and covered up.

Expect that more of this seeding will occur and be used to push more climate change crap worldwide.

If cloud seeding is THIS EFFECTIVE. It can be used as a weapon. What if the intent was to flood Israel with storms and torrential rain right when the missile were incoming ? Could massive amounts of rain interfere with the Iron Dome intercepts ?
