I do not consider hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians and Russians in a dispute over which despot is in charge to be a victory for the US or subjects of Ukraine or Russia.
He’s a sociopath. Russia made huge efforts to be a normal friendly nation and account for the Soviet era. Every effort they made was met with disdain, insults and only seen in a light of how we could exploit it.
DC and NATO needs a permanent enemy. And the UK has a pathological hatred of Russia going back to the Crimean war era.
This war was authored in DC and London. And now we are in for many more decades of hostility from Russia, them in alliance with China and India, and the BRICS moving away from the dollar.
And none of our policy had the slightest thing to do with what is best for Americans.
