If Congress passes funding, this is how the US could rush weapons to Ukraine for its war with Russia

The Pentagon could get weapons moving to Ukraine within days if Congress passes a long-delayed aid bill. That's because it has a network of storage sites in the U.S. and Europe that already hold the ammunition and air defense components that Kyiv desperately needs.

-snip-

If about $61 billion in funding for the war-torn country gets the green light, “we have a very robust logistics network that enables us to move material very quickly,” Ryder told reporters Thursday. “We can move within days.”

And the 155mm DPICM shells stored in Korea are ready to go once funding is approved.

LOL. As if suddenly bunch of shells and ATACMS from Korea will save them

Its become a sick joke. A kind of bad neocon TV sitcom, possibly entertaining for a few Americans, where poor bastards in Ukraine die regardless.

Russia “conquered” Bakhmut a year ago, but has only advanced 6 miles west in the past 11 months. 6 miles in 11 months. Putin’s snail brigades need to move faster if they’re planning to conquer Kyiv before the year 2125.

Too bad they don’t have this sense of urgency and purpose when it comes to securing the Southern border.

More wasted money while America falls apart and is invaded.

This government no longer represents the people’s interest.

The entire purpose of the aid is to feed the defense industry and launder money to the political elite.

All the aid is going to do is result in dead Ukrainians and Russia taking more territory.

Ukraine is running low on troops, let alone ones that experienced.

Ukraine has done a pretty good job holding back Putin’s Mongol horde for the past two years with our expired stuff. The DPICM shells are effective against Russian kamikaze meat assaults.

Q. How far west has Russia advanced since “conquering” Bakhmut a year ago?

A. Less than 6 miles.

There you go again. What we are constantly told:

RuZZZians are incompetent boobs, mired in the Donbas, who can't even beat Ukraine without NATO help

But, Ukraine will collapse without NATO help

AND RuZZZians will easily march across Europe if not confronted here

Can you please pick one non-contradictory propaganda theme and stick to it?!

“”””Spring Cleaning Time to clear out all of the expired stuff from the warehouses.””””

That has been one of the benefits for us and our allies, out with the old stuff that was stored to destroy Russian weapons and forces and in with the new and more advanced and updated versions.

We avoid the expense of complying with the expensive methods required to dispose of the stuff but as is shown with the 155 cluster shells, we send the old versions to the Ukraine front and replace them with the safer, more widely accepted version.

The article does not read well. It is a celebration of shipping potential and speed, but there is no address of what there is to ship.

Raw materials scarcity is a far more significant obstruction to production than money. I was under the impression that everything that could be shipped, had been shipped. Building new items requires that raw material.

You change your propaganda memes faster than your underwear.

So for your sake, promise us you will stay with the "Incompetent RuZZZians are stuck in Donbas" theme. Agreed?
