Former Giants offensive lineman Korey Cunningham has died.
He was just 28 years old.
Cunningham spent two seasons with the Giants, from 2021-22, and appeared in 13 games with the team.
He was found dead at his home in Clifton, N.J. on Thursday, according to local outlet RLS Media.
Law enforcement told the outlet that his death was self-inflicted.
The Giants released a statement on X Friday morning.

Very sad. Worked his whole life to play in the NFL and gets cut after two seasons and only 13 games. Maybe he was despondent over that.

I looked it up, I guess it is correct, but quite ODD.
Very sad. I have known many suicides. My ex was one. It hits hard. You hurt everyone. You’re not solving a problem.
The NFL uses up the players and spits out the husks. I can’t in good conscience support American football. (That said, this individual’s death might have had nothing to do with sports).
