No Satisfaction with Stone Age Celebrities Jagger and De Niro
New American Prophet ^ | May 6, 2024 | Jeff Crouere

Why can’t singers just sing, and actors just act? Why do they always have to enter the realm of politics? It is an area very few celebrities are knowledgeable about and most just spew ridiculous left-wing talking points. Sadly, almost all the top Hollywood celebrities and rock stars are progressive fools.

A perfect example is 80-year-old actor Robert De Niro, a highly acclaimed film star with a career that has spanned decades. For most of his career, he did not have a reputation as a far-left fanatic like Jane Fonda or Barbara Streisand. However, all of that changed with the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump in the 2016 campaign.

Because - let’s face it - many (if not most) entertainers are self-absorbed degenerates. They might be able to fake decency (to a certain extent). But it’s really not in their nature.

Mick Jagger went to the London School of Economics, and is quite sophisticated in managing money. He is also said to support the Conservative Party in UK politics.

Typically performers who reach the pinnacle of their profession focus an inordinate amount of time on that effort. Because of this they fail to develop normal skills, whether it's relationships or being able to throw a ball, or understanding world events in the context of a normal person. Thus, when they step outside their box, they are typically way outside the bounds of normalcy, common sense, and reality. So they do this at their own reputational peril. Thee is a famous line about this: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

De Sneero has learned his lines well, but without script he comes across as a blithering idiot sulfuring from Bidenitis.

Any entertainer not wanting to get blacklisted in the entertainment industry will parrot the establishment line if they want to keep working. Any actor, musician, etc., openly supporting Donald Trump will get blackballed.

It's not right but it's the way it is because we have tolerateed it for so long.

They could say nothing at all about politics - which is the wisest path to take, I think.

An aside about Mick Jagger, I last saw the Rolling Stones live at the LA Coliseum back in 1981. Concert was somewhat infamous for being the one that Prince got booed off the stage at. Rock and Roll audiences weren't ready for that kind of music yet, as well, we were more looking forward to seeing George Thorogood open the show. Prince was not George Thorogood!

Even back then - well over 40 years ago - the jokes were already going around about the "Rolling Bones" tour. By that point, they were already among the dinosaurs of rock.

I did not have a good time at the show. I had cheap seats and could hardly see them. I never did like seeing rock concerts in huge stadiums.

Jagger actually took a lot of heat back in the day, because he was one of the few rockstars that supported Margaret Thatcher.

I guess they got to him, eventually.

My nephew is currently attending LSE. When I have seen him I asked him how he liked attending the same school as Mick Jagger. He said he was not aware of the fact that Jagger had gone there.

“Mick Jagger went to the London School of Economics”

DNF it’s a moot point. Basic concepts probably. But... he leans towards conservative values so probably he has an understanding of the business of business.

These idiots have enough money to shield themselves from the realities of the modern day world. Their vast wealth has given them a warped vision of life far distant from reality.

They live in safe, gated neighborhoods, behind security walls with 24/hour guards and camera monitoring systems and travel everywhere on private jets and in limos.

Yet they are sure they know how to run the world and your life better than you do.

I would not be surprised that Trump had probably met De Niro at one point in time. They both live in Manhattan and may have traveled in the same celebrity circles at one point in time. It seems pretty personal how much De Niro hates Trump.

Keep in mind, De Niro was a big coke head back in the day.
He and Robin Williams were in Belushi’s hotel room the night he ODed at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.

They are puppets and owe their success to the entertainment industry. They are not going to bite the hand that feeds them. If De Niro said, “Yeah, I’m going to vote for Trump because he’s tough like me and from NY. The man is a genius at finances and a celebrity. What more does America want!” he’d be down the crapper, sleeping with the fishes, with Hollywood.

The US Treasury department confiscated $30 million from De Niro’s estate in July 2017. Guess who was president?

De Niro did not bother to contest the confiscation. Wonder why? Hint, it involves celebrities engaging in sex with minors overseas. De Niro likes them dark. Someone should ask him why his African wife of 20 years decided to divorce him during that time. Di Niro is a scumbag pedophile who should be rotting in jail. /spit

Robert De Niro is a "highly acclaimed actor"?

He's repeated the same role in every movie he's been in, and any random Italian-American from Brooklyn could act the role just the same.

Was going to say the same. Way too over the top vitriol.
