One of the regular contestants actually did a somewhat scientific study on this. He found the reason that the smaller guys could actually eat more was that they had no extra fat blocking the stomach's outward expansion.

On another note, did anyone see the commentary by Curtis Sliwa (Guardian Angels) on MSNBC. He was doing a VERY non-PC commentary, and said "yes I am xenophobic, yes I am jingoistic.." It was hilarious because I KNEW MSNBC had to be pooping their drawers just about then.
