I just returned from seeing Secondhand Lions and the first preview was the full trailer for ROTK! I had no idea the trailer was coming out this weekend and it was a total surprise.

The trailer is the best trailer ever for any of the LOTR movies. It totally rocked.

BTW, Secondhand Lions was a GREAT movie. The trailer for ROTK was just icing on the cake.

Supposedly there will be an AOL download available tomorrow and a download from the main LOTR sight on Monday. This version is the Asian version with subtitles.

The trailer in the theater tonight was just awesome!

Finally got it downloaded. The quality is not great, the video is dark. It has Asian subtitles, the actual trailer is in English.

Still well worth the download. Here's some of what we see:
Narsil reforged and given to Aragorn (really cool)
A brief glimpse of Shelob (OMG!)
One incredible "look" from Gollum toward Sam
Pellinor Fields - 10s of thousands - wow!

lot's more. the trailer is only 2-1/2 minutes, but in the theater tonight it seemed a lot longer. None of this footage has been seen before. It's all new.

Time to start the countdown...80 more days (is that right?)

I've watched it about a dozen times thus far, and I still get goosebumps each and every time!

The shot of Eomer (holding presumably Theoden) looking up in anguish just about made me cry.

So what am I doing wrong? I go to the site, get a white page and an indication at the bottom left that says it is downloading from the site. Thirty minutes later it still says this and nothing else has happened?
