I saw the light with McCain and I'm boycotting Fox News

Posted on 02/06/2008 10:50:56 AM PST by Steve40K

I was thinking of supporting McCain but have since changed my mind. There are WAY too many Democrats and Liberal newspapers behind him which raises a huge red flag. I'm boycotting anyone who supports this guy, namely Fox News Channel, Oreilly and any segment with the Liberal Shepard Smith. I am not planning on participating in the November election, if I do I'll vote Democrat out of pure spite.

Just don’t vote for president but don’t sit out the other federal offices, state and local issues.

The Dems are licking their chops relishing a fight with McCain. The Big TeeVee Industry will have a cakewalk portraying McCain as the mean old crusty white man. That’s why they love him so. With Romney and Hucklebee they would have to report on real life issues where the left is always weak.

Maybe you should relocate to a district with a very high percentage of folks who vote Democrat. Then, visit your friendly neighborhood radical Islamofascist Imam and get outfitted with ......

Well, anyway, you'll know what to do, and so will he.

That would help the Republicans more than you can imagine!

And work for good conservative Congressional candidates! We know McCain will get clocked, might as well be in as good of position in Congress as possible.

If you live in a predominately Democrat district your decision is harmless.

Do not vote Dim it will validate their platform and cause more sheeple who simply want to be on teh winning team vote with them.

Vote for a 3rd party/write-in or do not vote. The low conservative turn out or a high turn out for a 3rd party/write-in will demonstrate the number of people who are tired of the GOP screwing us and we need to weed the party of libs or start a new party.

I stopped watching FOX News when they started heavily pushing ultra-liberal Rudy for the nomination. The carpet cleaning bill for the TV room at 50mm's house was gettting out of hand because of frequent bouts of hurling my dinner during the Rudy's-my-guy- Hannity & MoveOn.org-talking-points Colmes show.

Voting 'rat won't solve the problem and not voting for good conservatives (maybe your senator or representative) punishes the innocent. Welcome to FR. Interesting second post.

This "Let Hillary Win" talk is crazy. It's effectively like contemplating suicide.

I agree with svcw. Go support the lower level candidates. Don’t make the solid conservative congressmen, of whom there are many, pay for the stupidity of the RINO leaders. Just write someone in for pres if you can-or leave it blank.

The Freeper Creed....

“If you don’t believe as I believe, every thought, every word, every utterance, you are unworthy of my vote. If you can’t do it precisely as I dictate, you are unworthy of my vote.

The fact I will elect a Marxist by disapproval of the minutest perceived imperfection is not relevant. Death and dishonor are preferable to casting a vote for someone who lacks the perfection of credentials I demand.

The country can go to hell, but I will remain true to my biases and even some personal bigotry while not voting or while actively killing the candidate I find repugnant. My thoughts will remain pure even as the country is destroyed and I can smugly say “not my fault, I laid out a pure and perfect course”

In general, if you are getting your news from TV, news magazines or newspapers, you are misinformed, underinformed or misled.

The Free Republic is a pretty good place to become informed. For example, I learned about superdelegates here on the Free Republic, not from TV news. My relatives all watch TV to get their news. I informed them that, even if Obama does well in the primaries, he will lose the nomination because of superdelegates. They all asked, “what are superdelegates?” I explained how 20% of the democrat delegates are selected, not elected. They didn’t believe me at first. “That ain’t right!!” they exclaimed. Then they looked it up. Now I’m the expert on the election.
