Palin is in their heads

Carla Marinucci, the San Francisco Chronicle’s Political Writer, had some sad news for her liberal readers this morning: Sarah Palin is alive and kicking — and kicking ass in California.

Carla Marinucci cited Sarah Palin’s speech on Froiday night, which raised a record $200,000-plus for the Cal State University Stanislaus Foundation, money much needed for a school in a recession at a time when donors are low on cash as well.

Wrote Carla Marinucci: “After months of buildup, including investigations, outrage and celebration, the former Alaska governor’s trip to California’s farm belt over the weekend proved beyond a doubt that she delivers — for Republicans and Democrats.”

From Sarah Palin in her speech: “This is California. Do you really not have anything better to do?”

From Democratic Attorney General Jerry Brown: No, we don’t have anything better to do.

His actual response: “I don’t think she understands the process. It’s about the operation of the foundation to see if they handled things professionally.”

Carla Marinucci went on and on how this will help Democrats, in a state that is already very liberal and very Democratic.

But I wonder.

The state is in a recession, right?

And Brown is running for governor, right?

Doesn’t he have anything better to do?

As long as Democrats keep talking about her, Sarah Palin grows in stature and Democrats diminish.

She is buried inside their heads. Liberals at times can think of nothing but her. It was the the same thing with Reagan.

California has real financial problems. Sarah Palin went there and eased them by more than $200,000.

What has Jerry Brown done?

Making the 2010 races in California a referendum on Sarah Palin is a mistake. She ain’t George Bush and she ain’t running for a damned thing in California.

And voters will notice the difference.

If I were Republican Meg Whitman — Brown’s opponent — I would ask very same thing in ads: “This is California. Do you really not have anything better to do?”

The level of hate the democrats have for Sarah is the total fear they have of her. They shake in their beds at night from abject fear and have nightmares of her.

To steal from Rush Limbaugh

Would you have more respect for someone who can come
up with witticisms of their own or for those who must steal them?

Why do you have to be so boorish? I mean seriously. You’re like an old man telling kids to get off his lawn.

Idol worship bothers me.

You’re like an old man telling kids to get off his lawn.

I don't quite know how to take that.
