Sarah Palin arrives. May I call her Sarah?
The Hill ^ | July 14, 2010 | Bernie Quigley

Posted on 07/14/2010 3:28:56 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Some hated her because she is beautiful. One prominent Washington Post columnist and TV commentator scorned her because she had a Garfield calendar on her desk. Others hated her because she is a hunter. A few on the margins even hated her because she is white. But it is too late now. Sarah Palin has arrived. But beneath it all — beneath almost two years of slander and disgrace on the part of the mainstream press — was a real fear. And for good reason, because Sarah Palin is a political genius.

While her detractors were in college reading Derrida and Michel Foucault, she was playing basketball. It made her a relentless competitor. It made her a great strategist. While the others were modifying the existing establishment to fit their own needs, she was building her own house with her own hands. And now she is building her own political establishment.

Supporters, like Dick Morris, say questions will arise about her quitting her job as governor of Alaska. But it was a bold, brilliant and necessary strategy. She wouldn’t have had a chance against such a hostile press and political establishment otherwise. Since then she has led the way at NY-23 — Rick Perry and Tim Pawlenty followed. Since then she faced off against mainstream party people George H.W. Bush, Karl Rove, Karen Hughes on behalf of “W,” Dick Cheney and others who supported Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R) in a Texas primary.

She supported Rick Perry, and Perry won in a landslide. It was a definitive moment. Since then she has assumed all of the creative qualities of the Tea Party movement and left the rest behind. Without her it would have been a wandering horde of disgruntled rednecks and peckerwoods. But most telling, when Mitt Romney went South to support Nikki Haley in South Carolina’s governor’s primary this past spring, it barely made a bump. When Palin went, Haley jumped double digits and this week Haley’s picture is on Newsweek.

Now Levi Johnston, innocent and naïve but at heart a very good young man from Alaska who unknowingly became front man for the venomous horde of creepy things in the night which control the world, has apologized. And The Washington Post’s Kathleen Parker, newly minted Pulitzer winner who on Sept. 26, 2008, just days after Palin arrived in the lower 48, called her, “an attractive, earnest, confident candidate. Who is clearly out of her league,” today writes:

“For what it's worth, I get a kick out of Sarah. May I call her Sarah?”

Jut alors! The Palin phenomenon is “a new feminine mystique,” she says now. Who knew?

No naysayer here. I was on the fence about Georgia Governor election. When I heard she endorsed Karen Handel, my mind was made and my vote cast. Nuff said on that.

In Sarah's upcoming campaign in 2012 for the Presidency of the United States, I believe the following two pictures sum it up best why she will route the marxist and send them packing out of our nation's capital in 2012.

The undisputed difference between Barack Hussein Obama and Sarah Palin.

Barack Hussein Obama is anti-American and committed to fundamental change that transforms our nation into marxism.
Sarah Palin is a red blooded American who loves liberty, our way of life, and our constitution and is committed to them all.

WHAT SARAH PALIN REPRESENTS AND HOW SHE TRUMPS LIBERALISM IN 2012

Saw a bumper sticker this evening, Don't Blame Me, I Voted for the Other Guy.

I want one that says Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Palin.

Sarah is great except to one problem she can’t seem to dump. Her support and love for big time RINO John McCain. I have one big problem with that.

This is why the mainstream media want us to go for a retread: Huck, Romney, or even McCain, anyone but Palin. I’m willing to consider others, and I’d love to find a better choice, but so far I haven’t seen anyone else who (1) has a chance of winning, and (2) would be a good executive. Despite the Palin-haters, Sarah meets both of my criteria.

While other Repubs are jockeying for position among their fellow Repubs looking to see who will emerge as the front runner, Sarah sees O as her target and has never taken her eyes off of the target. She just keeps pounding away. Some of the other Repubs take the odd shot at her and she sloughs it off, she doesn’t even notice because Obama is her target.

Okay it suddenly seems everyone in the media is accepting sarah ( which I am grateful for) however it seems suspicious. Have they all given up and are letting her run or is this a move to have her drop her guard? When Chrissy mathews seemed to give in last week it struck me as odd. How about you?

There may be candidates out there who may be able to beat her in an election in the future. But..

1. Nobody will out work Sarah Palin.

2. Nobody will out campaign Sarah Palin.

I am with her all the way

You think it would look good if she backstabbed the man who chose her to be Vice President of the United States, had they won?

He’s not “giving in” he’s merely stating the obvious: She will be the GOP standard-bearer, and hence the next president, unless something major comes up. He’s wrong-headed, but he’s not stupid. He was the chief of staff for House Speaker Tip O’Neill.

Not everybody in the media is accepting her. Not by a long shot. But they may have finally come to the realization that their attacks were hurting them and helping her. Such is the low regard most Americans have for the leftist press these days.

When you cease to support a socialist, it isn’t backstabbing.

McCain refuses to give up his leftwing causes. That should have a price among people who have principles rather than blind party loyalties.

Thank you for playing.

No but she could just stay silent about the whole thing instead of going out FOR him. She doesn’t have to put him down, but just not speak about it at all.

Can you imagine a world with good looking conservative women in power, (beautiful applies to Sarah)?

Contrast that with lying-old-fat-perverts, stealing, living high on our money and completely failing to get the damn job done.... year after year, decade after decade.. for damn near forever. Add to that, crazy-ugly-bitchy-lying-self-serving female traitors that are still living in the free sex and dope days of the 60’s. These dregs couldn’t make it in a real life, with real men, so they created a morbid fantasy of their own.

About every 28 days it might be a little tough (LOL), but we can get through this guys.

Nothing would make me happier than to see the ladies in charge, cleaning out the dead and dying and bringing about justice for the corrupt and the traitors.

Our conservative ladies would flat out turn this country around and they would get the job done at the speed of light.

“President Sarah Palin”... get used to seeing those words, say them out loud, see them in your mind... because in 2013, it’s going to become a reality.

Thanks for posting this. It was a fun read!

As a mom, I hope Levi ends up earning Todd and Sarah's trust back (yes, it will take years, even if he's sincere) so the little one will have a full time mom and dad.

I won't have any trouble voting for Palin, if she runs. Sure will be an easier decision than what I have for CA gov.!
