I think there is a strong thread within the MSM that wants Sarah Palin to be the Republican nominee because the MSM has done SO much character assasination on her, and will continue to do so, that her negatives will be very high outside her loyal conservative base.

I don't see that at all. In fact, I see the exact reverse happening.

The MSM have attacked Sarah Palin relentlessly, and with a fury rarely seen in American politics, ever since she was introduced to the public in the 2008 campaign. They continue to attack her for one reason, and one reason only. She represents the clearest threat to their Utopian Socialist wet dreams than any person since Ronald Reagan. In their minds, she MUST be destroyed before she ever gets close to the White House.

In the meantime, the MSM is attempting to choose the Republican nominee for 2012 by producing sympathetic puff pieces on lesser Republican threats, such as Romney, Gingrich, Pawlenty, and Huckabee. Nowhere will you find them launching the same sort of invective at these potential candidates, as they do at Palin.

She is clearly the most threatening person in the entire center-right pantheon of hopefuls, hence the non-stop fusillade from the left.

This is also a point that some on the right completely miss. By training nearly their entire arsenal upon Sarah Palin, the left has telegraphed precisely who the right should run for president. It is, of course, the person they attack the most.

You'd think that if liberals can see this, then certainly conservatives can figure it out. Unfortunately, you'd only be mostly right. Far too many on our side have not noticed the obvious yet.

The reason for these relentless attacks on Sarah Palin’s character and the assassination of her character by the liberals is because THEY FEAR HER THE MOST.

Palin represents everything the liberal hates in women especially conservative women, namely a brain that thinks for itself.

You don't seem to grasp how successful the MSM has been in character assassinating Sarah Palin with Americans other than conservatives.

I think sometimes conservatives spend too much in an echo chamber listening to other conservatives and not paying sufficient attention to where the American people as a whole are.

Among all Americans, her negatives are OFF THE CHART compared to other potential challengers.

Among republicans, she is very favorable.

The MSM will continue to furiously attack her, we know that.

What I think you are missing is the attacks have proven SUCCESSFUL.

The MSM slimed her unfairly and it WORKED, among people other than Republicans.

The MSM is going to have to be defeated as much as the Democrat candidate in order for Sarah Palin to be elected.

I think that’s because the frame of reference is the typical Republican campaign, advisor-led, veering to the middle, apologizing for being a Republican.

Gov.Palin will announce on the Bob & Mark Show in Anchorage as she promised today. The media will have to use the Anchorage FM station’s audio to replay it. I expect she will have some advisors, but they will not be running the show and no one is going to tell her what to say. Yes, there will be speech writers, but they will be working on her outline. Expect lots of interaction with voters. It will be a campaign like none before in recent memory. She will not hesitate to challenge Obama on his overall agenda and call him out for pushing policies that wreck the country. None of the other candidates will do that. If she can get him to agree early to a number of debates moderated by non-media types, she can tear him up. When confronted with the Marxists, Socialists and leftwing loons he has hired, what can he say? “I didn’t know they were Marxists”?,”I didn’t know that spending us into oblivion was bad for the country”?.

I think a few Freepers should forget politics for a while and start looking at character and values. Something you will not hear of from the MSM

I am sure this has already been posted several times but it is very clear, for anyone who has eyes to see, and ears to hear, that there is a huge Spiritual battle going on in this country. There are demonic powers and principalities with assignments on the government of this country.

Sarah Palin is filled with the Holy Spirit of God and the demons roar. Every demonic force which moves the unsaved souls in the media, gnashes it's teeth at Sarah and it's not just in the media but all the unsaved in the country. That's why Sarah is such a flash point. All darkness hates her, which is why we should pray for her, as the Bible instructs us to pray for our leaders. She needs divine protection to stand up to the hoards of demons that are constantly attacking her.

AND THAT IS WHY SARAH PALIN IS HATED AND ATTACKED. SHE IS FILLED BY YAHWEH'S HOLY SPIRIT AND A WITNESS TO HIS GRACE. For those of you who walk in that position of authority, you know exactly what I am talking about.
