Just imagine the numbers if Governor Romney were being attacked and abused 24/7 or if Governor Palin wasn't...

Excellent point.

Make no mistake - - the Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms will do everything they can to foist Romney on the GOP the same way they pushed for Dole and McCain. The last thing they want is a street-fighting, smashmouth conservative candidate who can beat their thug Ubanga.

Oh, that’s easy.

If Mitt is the nominee, I go fishing that day. He
is a RINO who has no firm positions and I am not
voting for any more of those - ever.

I also go to bed early that night instead of watching
election returns. I hate devastating Republican losses.

If Palin runs, I go to the polls after working and
giving and being an advocate for her to everyone I
know.

I stay up that night to enjoy the democrat carnage.

Just imagine the numbers if a credible source and not an America hating propoganda mill commissioned the poll.

I can't imagine that anyone can beat Palin for the GOP nomination should she decide to run.

I don't think any candidate could win a single state against her.

Right or wrong, that's the way I see it.

Strange that there’s no link to the poll. I searched for the poll to no avail. Hmmm, I wanted to read its internals.

We desperately need someone other than these two to break out. Romney SHOULDN’T win and Palin CAN’T win.

If it doesn’t happen I really see a scenario where GOP primary voters flock to RINO Romney in their desperation to unseat Obummer.

I’m still holding out hope that DeMint throws hit hat in the ring. I could live with Santorum, too. And Gingrich is in the same boat as Sarah - unelectable. Though I would relish the prospect of him shredding Obummer in a debate.

If Palin decides to run and has anything better than a TOTALLY incompetent campaign manager, MittCARE = obamacare Romney is TOAST on that issue alone.

You have that correct which is one thing that always irks me in general not just with Palin vs Romney but with conservatives vs so called “moderate” Republicans. If a conservative is having a tough race it is because of “kooky conservatism” but if a “moderate” is having a tough race there is no such criticism if anything again conservatives are the target because they just don’t love gays enough, won’t compromise on abortion, or just won’t face the fact that big govt is here to stay.

All of those critiques are not based on reality but that doesn’t stop the double standard. Even conservative media icons get in on it but then again they live and work in an industry largely dominated by liberals or liberal-tarians.

Romney if given the harsh critique of Palin would be dust. Look at the state he left Massachusetts in regard to a huge growing health care liability. He is also soft on illegals and turned a blind eye to sanctuary cities in the state while gov. We could go on with his back and forth support for “cap and trade” saying, ‘I’m convinced it is good business. The key problem with Romney is where Palin may be a novice in some areas (though I’d be hard pressed to identity any Republican that leads the media around on a chain better) Romney is a follower of the wind, he is a Machiavellian chameleon politician who found conservatism as a vehicle not a preference.

Also we have liberal Mark Kirk struggling against a corrupt Chicago Democrat while the Conservative running for governor is leaving his liberal opponent in the dust but it is humble conservative Sharron Angle who is called “kooky” and “out of the mainstream” yet she is in a neck and neck dogfight with the leader of the Senate Reid after rising from obscurity to win in a state Obama carried with 55% of the vote and then there is Rand Paul who is running consistently ahead of Conway and Toomey who is also doing the same while “moderate” Republicans are struggling even with huge bank accounts to carry them to power.

I just get tired of the game playing and it is purposeful.
It is meant to unfairly deflate conservatives to a second tier status. You have grass roots fueled candidates winning like Rand and Angle and suddenly they are “scary” but you have soft candidates like Kirk who hide their way to win the primaries and then still perform badly and its just mainstream politics. The people are being played the fool.

Palin is only unacceptable because the powerful have attempted to make her so. They fear her and that is the reason we should not.

The good ol boys who run the Republican party better listen and listen good.

There is no way I am voting for Romneycare mitt.

It’s political suicide if he wins.

The reason there is a ground swell and tea party is because of Obamacare, and they are running Romney?

If it is Romney vs. Obama, we will absolutely know that the Republican hierarchy is in bed with the left to bring us into socialism.

PS. I will vote for anyone but mitt.

Even Newt. Even Huck. Anyone who has a shred of republican credentials.

I voted for McCain and that hurt. But I won’t vote for Romney.
