Palin, the RINO kryptonite.
Heaven forbid the GOP nominate someone who could actually win!
“Mark McKinnon, a former campaign adviser to Republicans George W. Bush and John McCain, wrote in the Daily Beast that he admires Palin’s “tenacity, her verve, her moxie and her pluck” but believes she is “perhaps the only Republican nominee who could lose in 2012.” “
So what. I’d rather sink or swim with her.
She has a much thicker resume than O's you moronic MSNBC former Republican.
Bunch of phoney BS second raters and has beens and never was's who see 2012 as a really good year to run, the chance of a career for most of them, and now this upstart woman threatens to sew it up and end all the cash flow.
Some Republicans didn’t like Reagan either. Some Republicans are stupid and dangerous - liberal wolves in a supposed right-wing conservative cloak.
Very good point. We need a candidate with a really thick political resume. Someone like Gerald Ford or Bob Dole, or John McCain. Any moron knows that's what it takes to win a presidential campaign.
McKinnon - Obamanoid (I'm a straight American)
"Babs" - Old (Andy Griffith's "You're going to like it! ads don't impress me either.)
Looks like the 'RATS down at Rotor Reuters needs to find some big "R" Republicans, check in with them and then get back to me on this.
They are worried because she does divisive stuff like take on Obama.
There is a short list of politicians who actually came out to fight Obama and I’m not interested in anyone who isn’t on that list. Any politician who is looking for my support will have to answer two questions; what did you do to stop Obama; and how fast are you taking us back to constitutional government.
... thus rendering crystalline the core, unalterable differences between Republicans (essentially useless) and conservatives.
These pathetic pundits will test her for the next two years, and then Palin will wipe the floor with Sham-wowma.
“polygamy” - I realize this will likely offend some Mormons on here; however, if Mormons think that Romney’s unorthodox religion will be “off limits” to the majority of the voting public, plus his record in Massachusetts, they’re seriously deluded. The left will literally beat him over the head with it, and he, or any Republican candidate, will be Saturday Night Lived until they cry “Uncle”. Governor Palin will not cry “Uncle” for them; that’s one reason they fear her.
Not Republicans...Progressives.
Joe Scarborough is hardly a Republican.
"What man or mouse with a fully functioning human brain and a resume as thin as Palin's would flirt with a presidential run?" former Republican congressman Joe Scarborough, an MSNBC co-host, wrote in an opinion piece for Politico.
Joe, say it ain't so. Aren't a one termer and a loser to boot? How does your opinion being voiced from a show that is near the bottom for viewership amount to anything.
You are not relevant anymore otherwise you would have a stronger following than a few worshipers and lemmings.
Mark McKinnon, a former campaign adviser to Republicans George W. Bush and John McCain, wrote in the Daily Beast that he admires Palin's "tenacity, her verve, her moxie and her pluck" but believes she is "perhaps the only Republican nominee who could lose in 2012."
That's great Mark. And your last victory was watching John McCain founder as a candidate? Seems like you are better at picking losers than winners.
And Barbara Bush, the no-nonsense wife of former President George H.W. Bush and mother of George W. Bush, took a not-so-subtle jab by saying she hopes Palin will "stay in Alaska."
I'll give George Washington a pass.
So if Sarah is such a loser why are all of you paying so much attention to her anyway? Seems like ignoring her would make her irrelevant... but then again you know she is just what the Republicans need and she will win.
Should you continue to talk about her and give her free press?
You Betcha! ;-)
There, removed the irrelevant word in the sentence to make it more semantically correct.
“Republicans should remember Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment, which was ‘don’t speak ill of fellow Republicans,’” said Republican strategist Scott Reed.”
I get really tired of this quote being used to shut off any reasonable discussion about candidates. This quote came from California state Republican chairman, Gaylord Parkinson after a very ugly campaign for Governor. Reagan’s Republican opponent in the primaries focused on Reagan’s admitted affiliation with a Communist front group. He left out the part that when Reagan found out exactly what they were, he resigned and spoke out against them.
This wasn’t normal reasonable discussion and disagreement, this was vicious character assassination that continued even after the primary. When Reagan used this quote he didn’t mean that we all have to march lock step before the primaries behind one candidate. We can have discussion and disagreement without assassinating the character of the person we don’t support or without being ugly to each other because we disagree.
Which brings me to my second point. Not everyone that doesn’t wish for Sarah Palin to run is a liberal or a RINO. There are good strong conservatives that have reservations about her being President. This is the time for us to discuss the pros and cons of ALL of the candidates in a civil manner. If you really do support Sarah Palin, then support her with dignity and pride. If I say I don’t support her or I support another candidate, then tell me why you support Palin or what issues you disagree with the other candidate. Don’t treat me like I just crawled in from the gutter and try to belittle me with the R word.
