“Secret meeting with Jan Brewer while the latter was on vacation (possible VP pick?)” - backwoods-engineer
Hummmmm... :)

I think your plan is a keeper, especially everything under ABOLISH.
I’m in Scottsdale and this makes a lot of sense. Alaska is as far from the East Coast as Europe. Arizona has cheap office space, good connections and cheap airfares to the rest of the country, good weather that helps avoid flight delays, and a very Palin-friendly political climate. Scottsdale and Paradise Valley are full of wealthy Republicans who would love to host fund-raisers for her. We’d love to have her.
Wherever she plants there will start a grass roots wildfire that won’t be extinguished...
The intelligent, educated conservatives (pharisees) are huddling and murmuring.
Professing themselves to be wise, they become fools.
She would be smart to stay as far from McCain as possible.
And the wise move would be to pick a VP nominee 2 years out from the election instead of addressing her rapidly increasing disapprovals. VP’s are chosen right before or during the convention for a reason. So that the nominee can stand out alone and promote themselves. What if Brewer becomes radioactive? It would sink Palin. Remember Tom Eagleton? She needs to focus on getting a ground game together.
And think of the boost to business in the overall Phoenix area!
I guess this could be the reason behind Governor Brewers recent visit to Alaska. I’d love to see her set up shot here in the area.
I think its a good idea, anyone from Alaska is usually viewed as being out of touch with the lower 48, and Sarah Palin will not become like Pelosi commuting on the taxpayers dime eating truffled chocolates.
Additionally, Arizona borders three of the keys states that need to be flipped to beat Obama. New Mexico, Nevada, and the peoples republic of Colorado.
