According to the White House, President Obama paid for the meal out of his own pocket.

Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., however, claimed the bill was split.

And so it continues…

Here is a full list of attendees at tonight’s dinner: Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn.; Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H.; Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind.; Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.; Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C.; Sen. Mike Johanns, R-Neb.; Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa.; Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis.; Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D.; and Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga.

They can't even agree on who paid the bill, a fact which shouldn't be too hard to establish.

However, in my experience, a guy from North Dakota is far more likely to be telling the truth than a former street thug from Chicago.

Why did they rent a hotel ballroom? Did Michelle take over the White House for her cooking show or something?

By protocol, the President of the United States carries neither a wallet nor cash.

Try again, Baraq.

Is it legal for him to use an EBT card to feed other people?

My guess is everyone paid for their own food, and oboma simply scrounged his. oboma has never used his "own money" for anything, because he doesn't have any of his "own money." He's sucked off the public teat all his life - and he's still doing it.

If oboma paid - he did it with our stolen cash. (Gee, what a great guy - not! How much did it cost us this time?)

First of all, he never pays “out of his own pocket” — he has a full expense coverage, so I doubt he actually went to his bank account.

And I’m positive he didn’t pay for the extra security needed to clear a restaurant for the meeting.
