Sarah Palin On a 2016 Run: "I'll Never Say Never"
RealClearPolitics ^ | March 8, 2014

Posted on 03/08/2014 2:33:12 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

GRETA VAN SUSTEREN: Do you have a favorite candidate for 2016?

SARAH PALIN: No, not yet.

VAN SUSTEREN: Nothing? Who is sort of your -- who is at the top of your list? Are you considering running?

PALIN: Who is at the top of my list.

VAN SUSTEREN: Let me back up to my other question.

PALIN: No, question at a time. I appreciate those who have fought for America, like Ted Cruz, like Rand Paul. You know though, it doesn't have to be someone who has a title today, someone in office today. In fact, some would say we need to stay clear of those who have followed a conventional political path. Maybe they are part of the problem. There are businessmen and women out there. There are strong family men and women who understand what it is that makes America exceptional and they want to protect that. They want to get back to that. Maybe someone like that will rise and be the candidate in 2016. Maybe that's what we need.

VAN SUSTEREN: Okay now I get to ask that question. Are you considering -- is it still within a possibility that you'll run in 2016?

PALIN: It sounds cliche, but you never say never. Now, I -- at this point in time, I don't have a team of people, you know, getting out there doing these poll-tested whatever they do to let you know if you should run or not. I don't have any of that kind of organization going. I'll never say never....

No. Geez, I wish I knew his name. Hosting the news up until 7. Let me try and find out. Looks like John Edwards a bit.

It was Brett Baier (sp?), Carl Cameron, and that pollster whose name eludes me, the one without a beard.

You’re right, it was Jerrett not Baier. I have a hard time keeping those FOX suits straight.

No not gutfeld. The chubby, baby-faced Fox guy. Yes, he was appalling in not even trying to be objective. Basically, any media person that says “love him or hate him” or “love her or hate her” they hate the person they’re talking about while trying to sound objective.

Odd that. There are about a dozen Freepers doing the same thing.

He was downright snarky. Honestly, my first thought was that he belonged on MSNBC.

"I appreciate those who have fought for America, like Ted Cruz, like Rand Paul"

Gotta love this girl. Just can't help it.

She's the closest thing to Reagan we've seen, but she's her own girl.

Can we have a President, Vice President and Second Vice President?

Damn, I like all three and any one of them put to lie the supposed ELITE Clinton.

Who has the killer instinct that can get away with hard-core assault on Clinton?

Only Palin.

Put THAT debate on TV.

She’s got to prove to the MSM that she is not stupid like they portray her.--

That will never change. She could end disease and poverty and the LSM would still classify her as a dunce. Her 'rightness' and persistence will win out in the end, however.

All I want is a debate between Sarah and the Clintonista ............ Sarah will destroy Hillary in less than an hour IMO.

I think she and Ted Cruz are the only republicans who could stand up to the left and not apologize for what they say. We’ve seen too many apologies from McCain, Romney and the others, who cower every time the media portrays them as being anti-woman, etc.

Our Sarah is just too good, too patriotic- and too beautiful.
The ‘Rats have torn her apart and will continue to do so.
I’m sorry to say she’ll never make it.

Making leftist a crazier since 2008

This was also reported on the UK Daily Mail site. The libs are bombarding the comments like nothing I've ever seen there. Normally, they get shot down 10 to 1, but they own that thread.

Just the mention of Sarah's name seems to set them all howling.

I started watching and got a phone call. Now I am looking for a rerun. I saw Nutes rerun.

Her speech was good. So Greg was with MSNBC? Never knew that! He sounded like he was still there.

I like Rand Paul, but his libertarianism scares me.
