As she prepares to answer questions about the Benghazi attacks of 2012, Hillary Clinton has hired former Obama aide Tommy Vietor to help with the roll out of her new book.
Earlier this month, Vietor, a former Obama administration national security spokesman, appeared on Fox News to defend the administration’s response to the attacks and famously said to anchor Bret Baier: “Dude, this was like two years ago.”
Here is the transcript from that exchange:
BAIER: Did you also change ‘attacks’ to ‘demonstrations’ in the talking points?
VIETOR: Maybe. I don’t really remember.
BAIER: You don’t remember?
VIETOR: Dude, this was like two years ago. We’re still talking about the most mundane thing.
BAIER: Dude, it’s what everybody is talking about.
Clinton’s new book, “Hard Choices,” is focused on her tenure leading the State Department. It comes out June 10.
On Friday, Politico obtained the chapter of the book many observers are most interested in reading: her defense of her handling of the Benghazi attacks. Four Americans died in the Benghazi attacks of 2012, including Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya.
The Benghazi chapter will likely enrage critics: Clinton claims that an anti-Islamic video was “indeed a factor” in causing the attacks, despite CIA officials and others saying it was the result of a planned attack and not a spontaneous demonstration....

Hillary needs little Tommy Vietor to stay quiet about his Awesome Adventure in the Situation Room that fateful day. Imagine part of HRC's payout is a very nice salary.
BTW, that's quite a gay looking trio of young dudes there at the table.
Another weird thing about that picture, the two guys seated with Vietor look like twins, as do the two women in the photo.
IMO Clintons book on Benghazi is nothing more than a diversion. You think for one minute writing a book with YOUR version of the story hasn’t been done before, particularly by the Clintons? It helps take the heat off and get ANOTHER version of what was going on back then. I trust NONE OF THEM to ever tell the truth and I do hope that Gowdy will get to the bottom of it all. I have no doubt Hitlary had her fingers in the mess along with Odumbo.
Writing a book won’t make this go away.

MILITARY.COM reported (during the post-Morsi ousting in Egypt), that US Pentagon officials declined to give specifics on conversations between DOD's Chuck Hagel and brilliant tactician Egyptian Gen al-Sisi, who replaced Morsi.
(NOTE Gen al Sisi, 58, received a masters degree from the U.S. War College in Carlisle, Pa, in 2006. The General is revered by Egyptians for routing the Muslim Brotherhood which Egyptians consider a terrorist organization.)
Although officials would not discuss the specifics of the military-to-military talks, the US would need Gen al-Sisi's approval to move through Egyptian air space if Washington decided to send Marines to aid in the evacuation of U.S. personnel.
READY TO ROLL About 550 Marines and their tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft are at bases in Spain and Italy on standby if they are needed. A Navy Amphibious Ready Group with 4,000 Marines and sailors aboard, led by the helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, was also in the region following completion of the Eager Lion training exercises in Jordan.

AIN'T KARMA A *ITCH, HILLARY? the US helicopter assault ship Kearsarge, WAS in the region, ready to airlift Benghazi personnel to safety. Americans were lied to----we were told Kearsarge was not available to help endangered Americans in Benghazi.
