Today the second confirmed Ebola case was announced in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. David Lakey, Texas Department of State Health Services Commissioner, said officials are still unsure how this happened.

New Yorker columnist John Cassidy wrote an article last week on how the politics of Ebola could spell electoral doom for the Democrats should more cases arise in the U.S.

With the announcement Sunday of a new Ebola case in Texas it looks like his worst fears for the Democrats could be realized....

Health and Human Services and Homeland Security are massive organizations. This can drive a stake through the hear of the idea that massive government is any better at solving problems.
Unfortunately, it have to take something like Ebola to reveal the lies of the libs.

I have been monitoring the CNN comments and they seem to think that the blame rests of Gov. Perry and red state Texas. It seems they don’t see this as a democratic “optics: problem.
Next he will say that ISIS terrorists will never manage to attack on US soil....
Obama is driving this nightmare for Democrats.
Our president should be looking out first for America’s safety.
That does not appear to be what is happening. Our own president is driving this problem.

It really is not a political issue. But then neither was a hurricane and yet ‘rats used that like crazy against Bush. I think it is fair to say EVERYONE does the best they can against tragedies. Humans are imperfect and can learn from mistakes (even those only seeable in hindsight), but they cannot entirely prevent them. It makes no sense to chop each other up for merely being human.
And every tragedy involving a black person is not about racism, much as the ‘rats want to claim otherwise. But that will not stop Jackson and the now infamous nephew from doing a shakedown on every white person involved in the care of Duncan.
This is what I would like to hear from the nephew, “I am sorry my uncle brought this deadly disease to your country.”

The threat of a number of people dying and all the dims think about is how the deaths of innocents affects their political fortunes. What about the spread of Lassa Feaver, Dengue Feaver and Chickengunya in America and on our boarders. All thanks to the vapid polices of liberal politicians. And let’s not forget entro virus 68 which is paralyzing and killing our children. And the dims are just worried about their political fortunes. How can anyone support the evil that is the dimocrat party?

But they never say what they really think. Not in a straightforward, honest way.
It’s called liars trying to control the narrative by patching up the holes in previous lies with new lies.
I was in that hurricane (in Biloxi) and I don’t know what more anyone could have done for us. The Salvation Army, Red Cross and the tree cutters were there before the storm was even over and every non-profit and agency you’ve ever heard of (and many you haven’t) were there lickity-split.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
I bet there are half dozen more cases before the election. The Rats will have total Ebola panic by then. They deserve it. Sort of trumps whatever October surprise they thought they were going to spring.
