I did not hear her speech, so can’t speak to it personally. Although York is not the most conservative journalist, I have always thought he was pretty fair.

Did anyone here watch or at least hear Palin’s speech yesterday and, if so, how was it?

Yeah, I watched it. I’m a big Palin fan, but I haven’t been encouraged by her turn to the lower and lower brow over the past six years.

I think York’s story is fair.

Byron York isn’t as conservative as you would think. He recently has been covering for GOP shills on some issues

I watched it on Youtube earlier today. It was bad. I was disappointed in her delivery.

Youtube has several uploads of this and other 2015 Freedom Summit speeches:

I don’t have to watch Sarah P’s latest. I’ve watched enough already to have made up my mind. She’s a Western Conservative, tried, true, and red white and blue. The only people who have “trouble” with Mrs. Palin are the people who are quite fond of the status quo. The establishment is a system. The system is not half of the political class, it is 85% of the political class. It ALL recoils at the thought of a true reformer assuming power in Washington. The constant fear of her from every corner is her conservative seal of approval... IMHO.

It was pretty much like the article described. I was very disappointed. Sarah has still been on my “most wanted” list but as someone else said “an opportunity squandered”.

To say I was heartbroken when she decided not to run last time around would be an understatement. I have to say that watching her since then I see nothing that indicates to me she is serious about running. Her teasing about it is lowering my opinion of her sadly. I don’t know what that speech was really about. And I loved her outfit. She can pull off something like that with her slender figure. But was it something that one would wear if they were seeking the presidency? I don’t think so. JMO. I wish I was wrong but a tight black leather skirt, black blouse and black leather knee-high boots just doesn’t scream “I want to be president” to me.

SAdly I heard it and pretty much do agree with this author.....I kept thinking it was because she was tired, because she really did look it. However the more she rambled on, and too much was rambling, I couldn’t deny what was the obvious...and very sad it was so.

I listened to Trumps video later on....and actually reminded me what I would have thought Sarah might have done were she actually running. HE made points along the way and solid ones, yet had the “trump” personlity there with it all.

I know Sarahs base can give her room on this..but really it was that bad.

I heard her speak at Western Conservative Summit in 2014. It was a pretty bad speech, she was obviously unprepared and just rambled.

Amongst the political stars, Jindal, West, and Cruz stood out as outstanding speakers at that event.
