Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R), who is seen as a possible 2016 presidential candidate, will keynote a training session for Republican organizers in New Hampshire in March.
He will speak the at the New Hampshire Republican State Committees grassroots organizing training session and rally in March. In a statement, he said he was excited about speaking about his conservative record as governor.
Walker became a star in the GOP by battling public-sector unions in Wisconsin. His policies brought criticism and an unsuccessful recall attempt in 2012. He was reelected in 2014.
“It sure looks like Scott Walker is running in 2016.”
Godspeed, Governor!
Love My Gov!
BUT - Who are you GROOMING to come up behind you? If you leave us, all is lost! Wisconsin goes back to the soul-sucking, tax and spend SOCIALIST WASTELAND it was before you showed up!
I want some answers Governor Walker! D@mmit!
If not the top of the ticket he will be the VP choice. A Republican governor from the midwest, where the election will be decided, and battle tested against Democrats is too important to be left off the presidential ticket.
Keynote speaker at a conference for training those who are learning to get out the vote in the first primary state. What an opportunity.
You would be a good candidate to fill his shows!
But you probably are not in his inner circle.
*shows = shoes
You don’t love Lt. Gov. Kleefisch?
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Yes, I love her, but I’m not sure she could carry the ticket.
Thanks, but no thanks. I’d govern with an iron fist inside of an iron glove and I’d kick ALL the Socialists out of Wisconsin.
Pretty sure that wouldn’t fly on the old Campaign Trail, LOL!
A lot of people didn’t think she’d win the nomination. How many people were opposing her? Something like 20, as I remember.
Of course, I’d prefer to have Scott running the state, but Rebecca certainly is a hard worker. I get emails from her all the time.
I loved it on election night when her little girl was so excited because she “would get a new dress” for the inauguration!
BTW, Rebecca Kleefisch’s chief of staff is a man that I hope will be governor himself one of these days. I’ve known him since he started a “Teen Aged Republican” (TARS) group at the local high school. I’ve followwed him all the way through Marquette and Marquette Law School. He’s been a staffer in DC, worked at the Heritage Foundation, and has also worked for Walker. He’s OUTSTANDING!
Sounds great!
