Perhaps the “growing backlash” has something to do with him being at the top of the polls.
The truth is that the only backlash that’s growing is among professional politicians who have no achievements in life except running for office and journalists who for the most part are considered somewhere south of Phys Ed majors in academic ranking.
Everyone else thinks the guy’s great for simply telling it like it is.
