I take him as seriously as I possibly can—and donate money, also.
Maybe it’s not a smart idea but it’s the right idea. How many great Americans have gone the right way as opposed to the smart way? Cruz has gambled his career and his reputation to stand firm against the monsters who control Washington. He deserves kudos, not blame.
Its still way early.
You don’t win in the first 10 laps of the Daytona 500.
I am wondering about this myself.
His message is the similar to Trump’s, but his delivery is so reasoned that it may fly over many heads. To the extreme, he may be seen more as the thinking man’s conservative, despite the fact that he has demonstrated leadership.
Cruz is busy getting rid of ‘leadership’. He’ll get back into campaign mode when that’s done.
His views are well to the right of most Americans, and that includes Republicans.
Shaun, keep telling yourself this fallacy. I look forward to your head exploding on Jan 17, 2017.
“You dont win in the first 10 laps of the Daytona 500.”
Unless you lap the field during that time. IF Mr Cruz doesn’t watch out Donald Trump may do that.
I like Cruz better that Trump but Trump is leading the pack 6 to 8 car lengths right now
When is the last time the guy leading this early won?
And the first debate is the “Competition Caution” which takes that entire advantage away.
Slamming TRAITORS IS!
“politics” per se’ or does that include office politics?
“When is the last time the guy leading this early won?”
Jimmy Carter?
Seems like he sort of came out of no where and stayed in front
Telling the truth = Slamming one of your partys leaders on the Senate floor. Makes sense to me. Not.
For all the reasons in this world, I wish my husband were here to discuss this with him. Like many of you know, he was an acclaimed medical doctor with a 40 year practice in psychiatry, who had such insight into people and into so many subjects.
Left on my own, I have given hundreds of hours of thought to your question dearest 2ndDivisionVet and in my less than stellar thinking all I've been able to come up with is that Ted Cruz is so much more brilliant than almost all of the US populace, that he tries to hide it by not speaking with passion.
He speaks in a measured manner. He never lectures or gets enthusiastic. Like Donald Trump, Ted Cruz doesn't need notes or a teleprompter, but unlike Trump, Cruz rattles off names, dates, numbers, facts, history etc. with absolute accuracy on any and every subject!
I could most certainly be wrong, but he comes across to me that he doesn't want to be accused of being "too smart," or of being "the smartest in the room," which is truly *is*!
He's shy. He's extremely polite, and perhaps to a fault.
I stand with Ted.
NOW is the time for all good conservatives to come to the aid of your candidate
At that time the dims could have run anyone and won
SO you think Wimpy Mtch lying to every republican in the senate is something that should just go by unmentioned????
You may be part of the problem
I stand with humble God fearing Ted at his %5.
