DORCHESTER, S.C. - Responding to a report that said he did not disclose a loan from his wife's employer during his 2012 U.S. Senate campaign, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz called the issue a "technical and inadvertent filing error" that he will fix if necessary.

Did he forget to disclose the loan, or forget to disclose where it came from?

This is not a big deal. He could have got the loan from several different sources for roughly the same terms. It’s not like he was given the money and then turned around and gave Goldman Sachs a bunch of Federal money or cut a deal with them.

Worse...White voters -- who have no idea who he is anyway -- would stay home in droves

I had someone ask me if Ted Cruz was that guy who used to be the Mayor of San Antonio. This was in Texas!

Copy of the loan disclosure was available to the public in July 2012 during his primary run against Dewhurst. It wasn’t listed in the FEC Report by oversight but the information WAS Disclosed to the public.

This should be the end of the discussion.

A 2,000,000 dollar campaign, helped by two $500,000 dollar ‘’Loans’’ from Goldman Sachs. Isn’t that special.

Trump is my guy but this doesn’t seem like a big deal - why didn’t TC defend himself? Would Trump have reacted like this? I don’t think so.

My problems with Cruz - his eligibility and his apparent previous deinitition of a NBC as someone born on the soil of 2 citizens, some of his votes...that’s what I question - but not this.

The guy took a third of his Life Savings to Run for the Senate when he was considered the underdog against an Establishment Candidate.

There was a time on FR he would be hailed as a Hero for putting his Money where his mouth is.

This wasn’t “Wall Street Money”, it was his Family’s Money.

As far as I’m concerned, he took a big chance to achieve serving in the Senate when the odds were stacked against him.

I would recommend he get a better Accountant to file his Financials though.

Just my $.02, your Mileage may vary.

That was the requirement when my hubby worked for a broker/dealer 20 years ago. Brokerage accounts had to be handled through them.

what “crazy swamp theory” would that be? that you need to be born in America to be a natural born American citizen? because that’s the same theory that the guy who wrote the constitution held-James Madison.

Cruz hates New York values. But loves New York money. I find it kind of amusing. Don’t you?

And Trump supporters here hate gay marriage unless it's a gay wedding attended by Trump.

Just add this incredible fact to WSJ Fat-Cat Puppet Teddy Cruz resume :

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/04/10/meet-ted-cruz-s-tax-dodging-sugar-daddy.html

Teddy's entire Pres campaign is funded by a NY Hedge Fund Tax cheat
Mercer !
Mercer owes 6 Billion to the USA treasury aka the US taxpayers for offshore transactions !!!

The left wing media is already on the case !
