Trump Jr. Floats Possibility Of Chris Christie As Attorney General [VIDEO]
The Daily Caller ^ | February 28, 2016 | Chuck Ross

Donald Trump Jr., the oldest son of the Republican presidential front-runner, said Sunday that it's possible that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie could have a spot waiting for him in a Trump administration -- especially in the real estate tycoon's Justice Department.

Asked by "Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo whether his father would choose Christie as his running mate, Trump Jr. said that he had not been a part of those conversations but that "the possibility is certainly there."

"I mean, I think there would certainly be something within the Justice Department for him," the 38-year-old Trump Jr. added, unprompted.

Christie's endorsement -- which he announced Friday at an event with Trump -- was considered something of a surprise given the establishment Republican's recent criticism of his former competitor. At a campaign event in New Hampshire earlier this month -- just before he dropped out of the race -- Christie said that while he considered Trump "a good person," he is "not the right person to be President of the United States and not the person that we'd want representing our country."(continued)

I’m pretty sure I owe you an apology.

I apologize.

My emotions run to my mouth faster than my rational thoughts sometimes.

BELIEVE ME, I have my concerns, but I have to vote against Hillary or Bernie.

He’d definitely be better than Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch.

That's not saying much. One can be an absolutely terrible AG, and be better than Holder and Lynch.

I think Christie would be an awesome and much feared AG. I would hope President Trump would prioritize the prosecution of the Clintons, vote fraud, investment and mortgage bankers. I would also hope he crushes the DC Beltway graft machine.

I’ve been predicting this for weeks; it was obvious even in the early debates that Christie was auditioning for President Trump’s AG, and Christie would make a damn fine AG too.

Christie would also be a powerful campaigner as VP candidate too, but Trump has indicated he want’s someone with Congressional experience to help him get his agenda through Congress.
