If our primary were being held today, Cruz/Carly.
Cruz because he’s the closest to being a Constitutionalist. Carly because she’s a fighter who could take on Hillary and company. I think every candidate that ran this year would have something to offer their administration. Mike Lee for Supreme Court.

Another reason I’d vote Cruz is to stop Trump. I’m not crazy about Cruz and would prefer someone like Walker. Pretty sure that won’t happen, though.

I think Government can benefit as being seen as a business.

When we needed a businessman, we got a professor. :(

Hunter junior is as good as his dad. I’m glad of that fact.

I voted for Rick Santorum. No regrets.

If I had to choose between the now surviving candidates, I would vote for Ted Cruz.

I don’t know about the VP pick. It usually doesn’t matter a lot. Rick Santorum or Marsha Blackburn would be among the many acceptable possibilities.

Congressional leaders? I wouldn’t mind Louie Gohmert and Mike Lee.

Supreme Court? Any true social conservative with spine and character.

Cruz for Pres. Trump for Vice, but he won’t accept, so Nikki Haley
Robert Gates for SecDef.
Marco Rubio for State. (Guy needs a job.)
Trump, if he would accept it (and he won’t, again), for USTR or Commerce.

Supreme Court: Cruz himself, but not yet. Eugene Volokh, a UCLA law prof. Philip Hamburger, a Columbia law prof. Both men are hardcore, scholarly conserva-tarians who understand the 9th and 10th amendments, among other things.

I’m not sure, but I don’t mind at all.

He did run a Straw Poll before I started the Caucus.

It bothered me that I might be stepping on his effort back then. I think I spoke to him about it, but I honestly don’t remember now. I may have just thought about contacting him.

Are you still trying to blame Cruz for protesters?

No, actually I wasn’t.

That would be as stupid as Ted blaming Trump for them.

I only know one person that stupid.

Here is Cruz's statement on Meet the Press.

Well, let's be clear. Listen, the protesters have no right to engage in violence. They have no right to threaten violence. And these protesters, whether it's Black Lives Matter or Bernie Sanders protesters who are coming in just trying to shout down any speaker, that's not free speech. The First Amendment gives you a right to speak, but it doesn't give you a right to silence others. So the protesters are behaving abusively and wrong. But, at the end of the day in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. And it is not beneficial when you have a presidential candidate like Donald Trump telling his supporters, "Punch that guy in the face."
