Colorado’s delegate rules have been in place since 2004.

Limbaugh said today it was done in August to block Trump.
++++
True. He did say that. What he didn’t say was that it was also done to block Cruz and Rand Paul and to promote the GOPe favorite Jeb Bush.

Once Jeb and the other GOPe favorites fell by the wayside it was open season on Colorado delegates. Cruz seized the opportunity. Trump sat on his hands.

For the Trump fans: What should Cruz have done differently in Colorado?

the colorado caucus process is a sick, anti-democratic joke. About half a dozen people show up for each precinct caucus, and “elect” people to attend county assemblies and Congressional district assemblies; the county assemblies “elect” people to the state convention. The CD and State assemblies “elect” then delegates, who are supposedly unbound.

A couple thousand people out of a population of 5 million participate.

if all registered republicans actually showed up, there wouldn’t be enough meeting rooms to hold them in the entire state and the caucuses wouldn’t ‘work’.

the GOPe is counting on just a very, very, very few showing up. that’s why the reserved rooms are always so very, very, very tiny.

family members who have children to take care of, meals to prepare, and work to prepare for don’t have time to waste on a meaningless process where party insiders are going to steal the whole thing at the end anyway.

on the other hand, colorado is a mail-in ballot state for all elections. a few hundred thousand would have voted in an actual primary, whereas the caucuses were held on a weeknight when people have to take care of their families and then go to work the next day.

btw, if this is such a wonderful process, shouldn’t all of our elections for everything require everyone to show up at 7pm to 8pm on a Tuesday night?

Border Patrol Agents Demand GOP Provide “Free,Fair and Open Elections in America’

BreitBart ^ | April 11, 2016 | Brandon Darby and Alex Swoyer
Posted on 4/11/2016, 3:49:55 PM by bobsunshine

... In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, the National Border Patrol Council wrote:
“In our March 30th endorsement statement of Donald J. Trump, we, the National Border Patrol Council called upon the American people to stand with border agents in support of Mr. Trump and his pledge to end illegal immigration. We fully expected that the will of the American electorate, whatever they decided in this primary, would be upheld. It is now clear that voters are being disenfranchised in order to protect established interests.

By cancelling the election in Colorado, the Republican Party has found a brand new way to disenfranchise voters who want secure borders and safe communities. Once again, the will of the public – who have pleaded for immigration enforcement – is being overridden by special interests with agendas. We see the same thing happening across the country, where delegates won by Mr. Trump – through a popular recorded vote – have made secret arrangements to support other candidates, thwarting the will of the millions of voters they collectively are supposed to represent. This is insidious.”

Just a couple days ago, I saw Trump say on TV, “I hate the rules”. I don’t think is even aware that the “rules” have helped him a lot so far.

You don't get it. The Democrats will eat Trump alive with no ground game. You put your ground game together before caucuses and primaries so that you can make your trial run and get your act together. Trump didn't even try and got completely out maneuvered.

If Trump is the nominee, are you going to cry about "rules" and the Democrats machine come November??? If you really are a Trump supporter, you should be pretty concerned that his campaign in state after state has no ground game...

The thing is, the seething hatred towards Cruz of a good number of the Trump people here is so great that they would take the huge RINO(practically a democrat)Kasich over Cruz.

“useless to use facts and logic around here any more.”

The logic here is that Colorado wanted to keep the delegate decision away from the voters .... get it !!!!

"It seems like a simple question."

It is. the problem is that no one knows the answer. So, why do you keep on asking it?

Have you seen the newest NE story about Cruz and the madam?

The NE article parallels nicely with the same skunk smells coming out of Colorado.

No one gets to vote in Colorado and no one gets to see the phone records of the bordello madam because of a bozo judge.

The GOP snobs, elitists, and arrogant brass like Jeb & Neil Bush,Romney, Turtle McConnell, Ryan, Rinse and Repeat, the K Street and Wall Street promoters of Sneaky Snake Cruz will use whatever rules and regulations to get what they want.

When Cruz became an open advocate for the GOPe, I became a
#NEVERCRUZ supporter.

You are either a naïve voter or something even worse, a George Soros paid agitator.
