Trump has literally been running a ‘fly by’ campaign in hangers, because he can.
I think having Cruz on the team in the fall (as VP) is important to keep the conservative wing active AND have the ground game. I also think we need to give Kasich a role too ( even though I find positions on social issues and immigration disturbing.)
Kasich can help with ohio.
My real fear is that we go down in flames with Cruz/Carly or Trump/Carson or even Trump/Kasich (although Kasich says he will not be Trump’s vp)

Understood. I would only suggest that Dr. Carson does have a lot of respect .. and COULD be a good VP candidate...adding quite a bit of strength to the ticket....

Trump is pathological with his lying and, thus, is not even aware how big his lies are. He’s again today lying with impunity about Cruz, saying Cruz’s “New York values” comment was made with “anger, hatred”, which is absurd. I saw the comments live, and there was zero “anger” or “hatred” to them.
Trump is just doing what Trump does, which is to demonize, mis-characterize, and marginalize opponents, in an attempt to rile up his base, and run up his opponent’s unfavorable ratings. Pretty much right out of the democrat play book.

Honest analysis? Cruz is not going to come anywhere near Trump in delegates. Cruz will still be mired in the 500s and ~400 delegates behind Trump by the end of the month. I've ran the numbers using computer spreadsheets Trump makes it to 1,237 fairly easy. The anti-Trump press and Cruzers assumptions about Trump falling short are was overly optimistic. Trump is going to win this thing on the first ballot.
What do you think happens if Trump gets to the convention with 1,050 or 1,100 delegates and Cruz has 800+ delegates?
Not going to happen. Trump will have around 950 delegates by April 26, and well over 1,237 by June 7th, and Cruz will still be mired in the 500s by the end of April.
Both Colorado and Wyoming were NOT in my Trump calcs and he is still gets to 1237!

After the voting is done in June, Trump and Cruz can immediately shut down the establishment.
If trump will meet with Megan Kelly, he will meet with Cruz.
But Cruz will have to get over his hard feelings without showing to0 much negotiating ‘weakness’ to Trump.

Cruz is nothing but TRASH and needs to get out of politics period, he is nothing but a LIE and so is his whole family...the Bushes/Clintons/George Soros/Beck/Mormons might want him, but the people of America that is trying to protect America want NOTHING to do with the slithering, lying trash!!!

I keep hearing this and yet Trump's lead keeps eroding. 34 in Colorado, 29 Wyoming, picking up Rubio delegates, getting delegates in Louisiana, working to get opposition delegates that will support him on the second ballot. Ted is not going away.
There’s nothing wrong. He knows he wasn’t going to get them, so why spend the money and time he could be pouring into delegate rich areas. It’s like the national election. No one campaigns (for good or bad) in small electoral vote states as much as they do in large electoral vote states. Especially ones where the GOP machine has a lock on it. Sort of like Ted begging off New York. He knows it’s not going to happen so don’t waste the resources.
