A Trump overthrow or deadlier plan is less likely with Cruz as the VP. Cruz, though, doesn’t bring a state that won’t go for Trump anyway, he might help a bit with Hispanics, but I doubt it.
He is an incredible fighter and is very knowledgeable about the law and about legislation.
I’d prefer him on Scotus, because, as you say, his Canadian birth to a Cubo/Canadian father rubs me the wrong way.
The other day I read something very interesting about Americans born abroad to one citizen parent. This person was born of a US serviceman and his Japanese wife. The service person had the consular certificate of live birth for the baby and that became the baby's birth certificate, replacing the one issued by Japan. The parents also had to remarry at the consulate so that he could bring his wife to the US when his tour was over.
Wish I had bookmarked the page - it had photos of the paperwork.
Here is one possible senario of how the states will play out but other senarios are possible. The key is which person can help bring the total EC votes to 270 for being elected.

I disagree. With Crooz as Veep, it gives far more reason for the Crazies to off the man in charge. I wouldn’t want him as Veep for that reason.
