There’s a pattern here: Someone from the GOPe hits Trump, Trump hits back, the media accuses Trump of unprovoked “attacks”, Trump’s support goes up.
Yes, the cheering was tremendous by the reddest voters in the state. He needs the purple votes to carry NM in the general. His statements did himself no good for November, true or not.
The irony will be if he loses to Hillary by 4 electoral votes when the 5 EV New Mexican votes would have put him over the top.
Rush is way behind and stuck in the Rino-weeds.
The last thing Trump needs is his blowhard advice. Trump is and always will be Trump. Rush is a dinosaur.
The only people concerned are GOPe members.
My problem would be if the facts were not true. However Martinez has made a mess of New Mexico. So trumps right again.
O Susana has a habit of criticizing things she doesn’t know about.

All Martinez had to do was show up when Trump came to town.

Without getting into the whole discussion you alluded to, we lose anyway if he gives in to placating the so called purple crowd. That NEVER ends well.
No this is exactly what the voters are fed up with.
Political incompetent is ignored, or suppressed becasue the incompetent is one of the PC media protected classes.
Dead wood needs to be removed, not propped up.
