Why Bernie Sanders Might Accept Jill Stein Offer To Run On a Green Party Ticket in November
USA Supreme ^ | June 28, 2016

Posted on 07/03/2016 4:41:02 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

As the Democratic primary winds down to a close, Green Party likely nominee Dr. Jill Stein said she wanted Bernie Sanders supporters to “know that there’s a plan B here to continue to fight that revolution.”While overly presumptive Republican presidential candidates are rushing to announce potential vice presidential running mates, one presidential candidate is openly courting the idea of a bipartisan unity ticket. With the fact that Bernie Sanders has at least 43% of the democrats and 70% of the independents which is the largest voting block in the history of America and with The Green Party working hard to be on more voting ballots in November, why would Bernie decline the opportunity to be be President of the United States. The Green Party national convention is two weeks after the Democratic Party convention so if the superdelegates don’t change their mind we have a good reason to believe that Bernie would accept Jill Stein offer and run on a Green Party ticket.

With Sanders clearly not ending his campaign and with Democratic Party rigged primary process he can always try Sanders/Stein ticket.

With the likelihood of Bernie Sanders losing to Hillary Clinton increasing, the idea that Bernie would endorse Hillary has to be a painful one for many Bernie supporters.
Bernie has accused the Clinton campaign of finance law violations, suggested that she is not qualified to be President because of her judgment to align with Super-PAC’s.

We can see Individual Rights and Domestic issues views of both of them as an example but they do agree in every other political question.

Individual Rights:

Strongly Agrees

Well we know that on almost every big question Individual Rights,Ideology, Domestic Issues, Economic Issues,Defense and International Issues Sanders and Stein have similar view which is one more reason to believe that Sanders/Stein would team up for November. With reports showing that the largest progressive bloc can be created and join Sanders/Stein win could be on a horizon for them.We have recently created a poll Can A Sanders/Stein Ticket Win A 3-Way Race, 97% voters answered with yes to this question we believe that Bernie supporters would love this idea. You can also give your vote in this poll in a link below this article and share this article if you believe that the revolution should go on with Sanders/Stein in November!

Bernie should wait, he could still get the democrat nomination

Nah. Even if they indicted Hillary, it would go to Biden. In fact, that would be the objective of the indictment.

If true, I’ll be sending a serious donation to Bernie.

And should the Demo pick somebody else in her place, Bernie and his supporters would raise hell. I believe he is hanging on with the hope she will be indicted.

If it happened before the convention maybe, but if she is the nominee I’m wondering if it would go to the vice presidential candidate.

I have not yet seen an official statement from Jill Stein that if Bernie will run as the Green Presidential candidate that she will accept the VP position. She ran for President herself in 2012, so why would she accept VP? Does anybody have a link to an actual (not speculative) statement?

Of course, Bernie might not make it through the first term, in which case...

A Bernie/Stein ticket would not win outright, but it would provide interesting pre-election debates, and it would block the Dems from winning. What's not to love?

Sadly leftists HATE CONSERVATIVES (and the West, for that matter) so much that they’re willing to put up with Muslims flying planes into buildings, shooting up joints, and re-populating their own countries, just to stick it our eye.

So I wouldn’t expect Bernie to take up the offer as it would sink Hillary’s already meager chances of victory.

But it would be great to see it happen!

I think this is wishful thinking. Unless Sanders is seriously dissed at the convention, he won’t do this. He might, though, be welcoming this as leverage with Clinton... Force he to pick him, for example.

“...Bernie Sanders has at least 43% of the democrats and 70% of the independents...”

------

Nonsense. Trump has the majority of the Independents.

Yeah, that's a load of crap. At the least, he splits them.

Better, it might result in the death of the Democrat Party. The socialist true-believers end up in the Green Party, and all the D's have left is the Friends of Goldman Sachs and the establishment RINOs from the GOP -- not a vote-inspiring combination.

Bernie, please zot the Democrat Party!

That could be GREAT for Trump

Be careful what you wish for. If it's close in the electoral college, and Bernie pulls in a few states, the chaos would go to the very secretive electoral college. The backstabbing elite have already shown us there is nothing too low that they'll do in rigging nominations and stealing elections. Who knows who they'd give us as President.

If Bernie, a Red, joins Stein a Green, their new party would be called the “Watermelon Party. Green on the outside, red on the inside, and Stein is pretty far left herself. Just spoke at the Socialist Left Forum in New York recently, a totally Marxist/communism affair.
