Geneva Reed-Veal, whose daughter Sandra Bland died in police custody in Texas; Sybrina Fulton, whose son Trayvon Martin was killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer in Sanford in 2012; and Gwen Carr, whose son Eric Garner died after New York City police used a banned chokehold on him, are part of Mothers of the Movement, women whose children were by guns or at the hands of police. They campaigned for Hillary Clinton in Pompano Beach on Sept. 26, 2016.
The outcome of the presidential race in Florida could hinge on how many black voters, who turned out heavily for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, are energized by Hillary Clinton.
Black voter turnout is one of the most important pieces of the Florida electoral puzzle for Clinton. Black Democratic leaders are optimistic, but cautious. And the Clinton campaign is taking multiple steps to generate enthusiasm.
"Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign, we're really going to have to put our shoulders to the wheel and just make sure that we can get everybody out to vote," said state Rep. Gwyndolen "Gwyn" Clarke-Reed, a Democrat who represents many black neighborhoods in northeast Broward. "We cannot take this election for granted."(continued)

I think the people of darker pigment of skin, will at last see that HOPE for their kin has more to do with ending the absenteeism of fathers in the home and not to be blamed on a few bigoted police of lighter skin pigment.
You don't go around and call people ‘racist’ ‘deplorables’ and ‘uneducated’ and expect any vote at all...
ROTTEN is still back in the 60’s as to the way they ran for office then...but we are not in the 60’s anymore, and we have a candidate that is for America and her people, and we don't care if they are Black, Brown or whatever, we love America and Our Candidate loves America and us...
ROTTEN made a lot of mistakes last night in the debate but the one mistake she made with people of my granddaughter's age (25) was that smirking, holier than thou, disgusting more important look and attitude, turned them completely off, just like it did the rest of America...
She doesn't care about us, America or any other part of the world, she wants the title of First Female American President and she isn't going to get it...don't be surprised if in 4 years from now, if she's still alive, she won't be running again...
I hope by then, we have ISIS, her baby, The Middle East and Peace at last, with America thriving and America back as the Power Nation that it once was before her, her husband, GHWB, GWB and Barky...
