I agree with you. I hate to say it because we are always labeled dumb but I’ve heard him many times and he’s just not anything close to a mental giant. And that’s being generous.
In 1999, Cuban and a partner were offered $5.7 Billion by Yahoo for a company with about $50 million in revenue. Yea! good for him. This was during the drunken dot.com craze before the burst.
Since then, Cuban’s net worth is about $3 billion. He’s not even close to keeping pace with the market. I certainly wouldn’t call him a financial guru. I call him one lucky salesman/bartender that stumbled upon a clueless Yahoo.
He really thinks the world wants to hear his every thought.
