LANSING, Mich. – Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein on Wednesday requested a full hand recount of Michigan’s presidential vote, making it the third state where she’s asked for another look at a race narrowly won by Republican Donald Trump. Stein had previously requested recounts of the presidential votes in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
President-elect Trump defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton by 10,704 votes out of nearly 4.8 million ballots cast in Michigan, but Stein alleges that irregularities and the possibility that vote scanning devices could have been hacked call the results into question....

The judge from Wisconsin set the legal precedent. She is a liberal and saw Stein’s claims as bogus. Expect PA (court date on Monday) to say “Nyet” too. Time to sweep this sordid business aside.

Has Stein asked for recounts in WI and MI? Today is the last day for the petition in those states and I don’t know the status of that.

As long as the counters don’t have pens/markers to actually fill in the ovals, it will be OK.
Why is it that her “case” for re-counts is plausible but Trump’s is some sort of conspiracy?
OK, so someone needs to take one for the team and give her a hand job.
The simplest reply is that since you the candidate for President received so few votes, and no matter how many recount done, you cannot possibly win, your motion is denied.
How many ballots have a vote for both Trump and Clinton, despite votes for Republicans on the rest of the ballot?
If there are indeed 80,000 ballots with blanks for President and those blanks are clearly unmarked, Trump needs to have count watchers to make sure those ballots stay unmarked. Just because voters may have left that position blank (Dims or Pubbies), vote counters should not assume it was a mistake and try to attribute a vote to whatever party has the majority of votes on the marked portion of the ballot. Leaving it blank CLEARLY shows the voter's intent.

Why is that soooooo freaking shocking that someone would decide not to vote for either Presidential candidate? I work in a office with 25 peeps and 3 of them never voted for either Trump or Clinton leaving it them blank and only voted for Ron Johnson.
It would have been done to absentee ballots as they came in. Remember the incident where Broward County, Florida election officials were observed filling in absentee ballots (there was an affidavit). Also I believe in this same county, absentee ballots were opened prior to canvassing (Republicans stopped this).
Not shocking at all. The issue is that the counters should be watched so they don't fill in the blanks, LOL.
What about New Hampshire? Aren’t we worried that a candidate got a raw deal there?

Trump himself should ignore these recounts from here on out. Of course his lawyers should stay on top of the situation, but we know the deal. Nothing is going to change. The recounts will finish, Trump will win again.
And if he doesn’t ignore it... I might have to. These lunatics are driving me nuts. Haha
