Caught a little network commentary online and had to chip in here: they don’t get it. They really do not understand why 9000 people would crowd into a hanger and stand in line to hear Trump. Now, the guy won an election he wasn’t supposed to and has been President for only a month and they still haven’t figured out the appeal. Approval rating increasing? Total mystery to them. I know it’s only been a month but in all that time they haven’t even tried to find out? I mean, as in ask somebody, anybody, who doesn’t live in liberal LaLaLand? Unbelievable.
The mainstream media do not care to interact with ordinary people.
They write predetermined, formulaic stories according to a template.
(Or they just paraphrase / plagiarize some other reporter’s story.)
Then they phone an official “spokesperson” (”flak” in the parlance) from some lefty organization, to get a fresh quote to plug into the template.
Since the flaks’ employment tends to rotate between SJW organizations and the MSM, the reporters’ “sources” are generally their former co-workers and people they’ve slept with at some point.
Often as not, an “anonymous source” could be a reporter at an adjacent desk, or someone they’re currently sleeping with.
