The wall by itself will not be enough, and in some places it is probably not practical. We need a lot more manpower down there - BP or military or both, and a policy to push folks who cross the border illegally back into Mexico *immediately*. Repeat offender illegals need to get jail time followed by deportation. All illegals should have a permanent ban on citizenship. And then there needs to be a reform of domestic policy to get rid of the welfare-state magnet. I really think we need the military down there immediately, in sufficient presence to deter attempted crossings by 99℅
