We lived there for 5 years, downtown in Belltown. In the 2004 election for Bush, I was the Poll watcher/counter for my Precinct, and had to call all 11....ELEVEN....registered Republican Voters!!! And we were 2 of the 11 !!! There was around 750 Democrats as I recall to 11 Republicans!!!
THERE ARE NO REPUBICANS IN SEATTLE!!!
They may vote Democrat in the primary just because that is the only way to have an impact on the elected officials.
They may still vote Republican in the general election.
Are final election results 98.9% Democrat for all offices?
