There was a break-in at Senator Dean Hellers office in southwest Las Vegas over the weekend and the GOPs health-care bill seems to have inspired it. Considered a key swing vote on the Senate bill, Heller initially expressed reservations about its Medicaid cuts but hasnt said much about the latest revised version. According to one report, his vote is likely to be bought, giving Republicans enough yeas to push the bill through.
One person in Nevada wants to make sure Heller remains opposed to the bill and went about it in about the worst possible way, breaking into his office Sunday morning and leaving a threatening note near the door.
(TWEET-AT-LINK)
Neither the Las Vegas police nor Hellers team have confirmed the contents of the note.
Wait, what?
Violent Amish for sure....
I’ll tell you one thing - if I were running a campaign for something as important as US Senate, I’d make damn sure to have somebody, or some people, in my headquarters 24/7, and, of course, armed.
How many times does this need to happen before Republicans get the point?
This day and age, they should have hidden security cameras..
Heller should resign immediately so who cares what some idiot may have wrote or if it was staged, more likely.
But it was OK for Heller to vote for Rubio’s amnesty.......
...of course, but I doubt they’d work. Lead is likely more effective.
Thanks media. You’ve driven these idiots mad.
Ummm, so nobody who SHOULD know the contents of the note have confirmed the contents of the note.
But the media knows the contents of the note?
How does that work, exactly?
Sorry! Should read:
Ummm, so the people who SHOULD know the contents of the note have not confirmed the contents of the note.
Fingers not working as fast as brain!
Because of Planned Parenthood’s TV and radio ads, I emailed Sen. Heller and asked him to vote against Planned Parenthood funding. I also asked him to propose bills that would end almost all federal healthcare spending, since that spending disobeys the 10th Amendment. I didn’t get a response, yet.
