What’s to negotiate? Does NK have ANYTHING anybody wants? You cannot negotiate a deal with someone that has nothing to offer and simply getting them to not develop nuclear weapons is not in their playbook.
It occurs to me that Trump is shifting strategy. He first attempted to bargain with China to get their aid in muzzling North Korea. That didn’t work. Then there were a few overt military moves (send in the aircraft carriers)... that didn’t work. So now were down to emulating Richard Nixon’s “Mad Man in the White House” which was used to get North Vietnam back to the Peace Talks. Worked then, but the Left in this country went crazy and Nixon was removed from office.
Think of Jill Stein as the canary in the Left’s coal mine. She is the one most likely to indicate their line-of-thinking.
