I don’t think everyone read the last paragraph.

The entire column is taking a shot at Trump.
I was waiting for someone to notice. Weiner’s real sin according to the author is preventing the election of Hillary! and “sentencing America to total incompetence”. Of course President Trump is able to successfully get himself into an SUV without assistance from his SS detail.

However, I attribute the whole Trump outcome as a monumental miracle from God.
Too many inexplicable things stopped Hillary, including her failure to visit Wisconsin, blow off Michigan, etc. She knew better than that. She was too sick to care and too consumed with presumption and arrogance to bother. A miracle.
