Mental Health?

Maybe she means Introduction to Psychology

How about:

Logic
Ethics
Rhetoric
Civics
Ancient History
Medieval History
U.S. History
Western Civilization
Historical Geography
Political and Economic Geography
English Literature
English I, II, III, and IV
Algebra I and II
Linear Algebra
Geometry
Trigonometry
Solid Geometry
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Geology
Astronomy
Economics
Hygiene

Those used to be the basics of a high school education.

The Electives I remember were:

Foreign Languages
Foreign Literature
Anatomy
Accounting
Astral Physics
Nuclear Physics
Computer Mathematics
Differential Equations
Calculus
Sociology
Journalism
Introduction to Jurisprudence
Introduction to Psychology

I may have missed a few.

But I sincerely doubt that there are many public schools offering anything like this anymore.

My kids both took Latin in our public high school.

I thought that was cool. They said it helped.

I don't remember Nuclear Physics or Differential Equations being offered in high school, and I went to a top public school...
