These idiots have more money than sense. Plus, I don’t believe Cruz would primary Trump. The rest are stupid enough.

Martinez is, IMO, damaged goods. Kasich keeps revealing his inner dolt. Cruz, wasn’t good enough last time, won’t be good enough next time. Sasse and Flake, don’t even get started on those two RINO establishment hacks. Trump would only pause long enough to scrape them off the soles of his shoes.

I think Ted Cruz is too smart to take on Trump a 2nd time, besides, they agree on too much and DJT is accomplishing a great deal. I hope all of the others try though. It will give DJT tons more media exposure and he will rip them to shreds while the media cheers them on and keep the rest of us rolling with laughter.

It will also ramp up the conservative enthusiasm against whatever Democrat challenges Trump.

Folks should keep this in mind if they’re ever tempted to donate to the party.

Cruz faces a strong Democrat challenge to hold his seat in the Senate next year. Hispanic, black, Californian, Yankee, and native white liberals threaten the long GOP hold in the Lone Star State. The Jones win in Alabama has emboldened the Left. If there is any substance to the allegations of Cruz’s infidelity with a staffer, the MSM, including the big city dailies like the Dallas Morning News and the Houston Chronicle, will make the anti-Roy Moore campaign look like a walk in the park. Cruz cannot afford to alienate anybody, especially Trump.

If Texas goes purple or blue, game over.

Bwahahahahaha....

From the minute Trump entered the race, the simple truth was only Trump can beat Trump. As long as Trump continues to put America first, that will remain true. There is no one who can beat him in a Primary or General as long as that remains True.

Least of all some Never Trumps who are polling under 20% in their home states and also rams from 2016.

Kasich, yes. Sasse, maybe. Cruz, no. Flake, no. And I have no idea why Martinez was floated.

But primary opposition doesn't mean Trump would be in danger of losing. I don't think he would be.

He defeated 16 in the previous primaries with no experience, so I see no threat from those considering so far. He will lay them all out just like he did in 2016, and probably even more so. If Flake gets even 1/10th of 1% I would be surprised.

Oh sure. I can just picture any of the Trump rallies - those people wouldn’t turn from Trump to ANY of those choices. Flake is delusional.

As it stands now, of the five Ted Cruz is the only one who would NOT challenge Trump in the primary. Also, of the five, Kasich is the most likely to challenge Trump, followed by Flake, then Martinez, then Sasse.

Amazingly absent from this list is any Bushes and I think Jeb Bush is most likely to challenge Trump (again). Kasich might be dumb enough to try it. His father was a mailman, you know.

Ms. Martinez makes more sense as a cabinet member. I wouldn’t rule out any Rinos from New Hampshire. And I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone like Mark Cuban enter the ring if only to force Trump to spend a lot of money and get under his skin.
