I tend to agree. While I think Cruz is more authentically conservative than Trump, I also think Trump is much more effective. Cruz is far less inherently likeable than Trump. Because of that, I think Ted would certainly have lost to Hillary.

Yes, I think so.

I agree with almost every syllable Ted Cruz says, but his presentation is awful. He has a hard time connecting with people. He’s stiff. He’s painfully unfunny when he’s trying to be funny.

He’s better suited to be a backbencher Congressman from a conservative district, circa 1982.

Cruz would get obliterated in a general election. A little worse than Romney performed in the electoral college. He’s a dud.
