Wishful thinking about Trump
The Baltimore Sun ^ | May 14, 2018 | Jules Witcover

hat "blue wave" that critics of President Trump have been hoping will wash over him in the midterm congressional elections him may not be a likely thing after all.

Last Tuesday's Republican Senate primaries in West Virginia, Ohio and Indiana offered no assurance that anti-Trump voters, including many in his own party, will rise up in November to rid themselves of the president's backers in Congress.

In all three states, Republican candidates supporting Mr. Trump prevailed. The one senatorial candidate who ran without his backing lost, mostly because he was toxic in his state of West Virginia as a former coal executive convicted in an accident in which 29 miners were killed.

Don Blankenship, also accused of making racial slurs, lost badly, running third behind state Attorney General Patrick Morrissey and Rep. Evan Jenkins. The baggage Mr. Blankenship carried raised serious doubts that he could unseat Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin next fall in a state Mr. Trump won by 42 percent in 2016....

Gee, six weeks ago the "blue wave" was front-page news on every MSM-Democrat party outlet.

Now all of a sudden it's the "President's critics" who were talking about it.

Bunch of liars.

Even if they were to take control of the House. They will only be able to vote to bring articles of impeachment to the senate. With Trumps approval numbers at 50%. That 66 vote threshold will never be met. Be a rerun of Slick Willie’s impeachment. I don’t believe they will get the house. I think the gop will gain in the senate. JMHO

“They look to that phenomenon to rescue the country from the chaos of a president who appears to rule by caprice and whim.”

garbage propaganda article ... still promoting the shibboleth of “white house in chaos” ... waste of time to read the rest ...

The so called Blue Wave is more likely going to be a Blue Ripple.

They will catch real hell if any impeachment bull crap gets too far.

Any blue wave will consist of election fraud.

Just remember, one organization had hillary as a 98.6% chance of winning in 2016. These polling companies project what they want onto their data. It simply can not reflect what voting will be.

Go out there and vote, folks. There are 9 demo_rat Senators up for election in states that went red in 2016. All of these Senators should lose and make it a red wave in the Senate. Imagine a 60 seat advantage in the Senate. It is possible.

Trump may very well beat the odds again and actually get gains in the House . His successes are destroying the reputations of the people trying to destroy Trump. As for the Senate the RATS were already at a disadvantage due to them having to defend much more seats. It’s even possible our President could end up with a filabuster proof Senate.

I doubt there will be a BLUE WAVE!

The Election will be on ONE DAY that EVERYONE will know about!

Think ALL the TRUMP supporters will sit home? No way!

Utah is an interesting contest. In Utah Mike Lee defeated a Mitch Swamp critter and Dr. Mike Kennedy might defeat the ultimate swamp Rino Romney in the June 29 primary. Dr. Kennedy actually beat Romney in the cacaus vote.

Check your premises...since when do the establishment Republicans give a rat’s ass about their constituents, when their own asses are on the line as President Donald Trump (I love those three words!) drains the swamp.

If the House impeachment happens, the Senate will convict. The Swamp covers it’s own asses first!

Well, well, well, Baltimore Sun faces reality and gives up on the liberal narrative (i.e. lie).

My coffee tastes a little sweeter this morning. :)

While all of Washington elites were at the WHCD, Trump came to Washington Twp., Michigan, and campaigned. It’s funny, I didn’t talk to anyone who had heard of Washington Twp. Trump found it. LOL

Last week’s Ohio primary had 150,000 more GOP votes than Dem votes. I don’t see a blue wave in Ohio.
