Donald Trump is wooing black voters.
He absolutely is, and it's about time that a Republican is making an attempt to bring them back to the party of their freedom.
He doesn’t really have to do much: have the presidents of some of nation’s historically black colleges gather in the Oval for a photo op and watch them do it because their schools are struggling or dying.
It's not just a photo op. Trump wants them to succeed.

It is one more distraction, among a series of distractions from federal investigations that Trump has tried. He also has tried threatening to fire people. He has even raised the idea of pardoning himself.
It's not a manufactured distraction. He's doing this -- and a lot of good things -- while the left ties themselves in knots purporting this hoax of an investigation.
But, fearing little, he’s now working on his re-election campaign.
And the NAACP didn’t march.

Donald Trump is succeeding at something few people thought possible. He is getting some black people to compare him to Barack Obama. Obama didn’t get Alice Johnson out of jail. Obama didn’t pardon Jack, even though Ken Burns asked him to and produced an entire documentary explaining why.
It's called getting off the plantation...
Donald Trump isn’t killing the Republican Party. He is killing the Democratic Party.
And it's about time a Republican worked to do this.
He is singlehandedly making people forget the strength and resilience and heart of the party that once tried to define itself as the place for the little guy, for the left-outs, for the have-nots.

He is making people forget that the Democratic Party champions programs for the descendants of the enslaved while the GOP attempts to convince us that slavery wasn’t as big a deal as we have been taught.

And no one is belittling the history of slavery. We know the Dems have never been called to atone for their sin and horrible past.
And now he’s performing his biggest trick: convincing people that he cares more about black people than the Democratic Party. This, after he convinced poor people that he's better for them than any party.
He convinced them because it's true. It's not a "trick".
If they’re not careful, the Dems will look up and realize that the black base they’ve taken for granted for decades, might not be as enthusiastic as in the past.

He may get a “secret” vote of blacks who will pull the lever for him, but aren’t quite ready to admit it.
If Trump could get his black vote up to just 15 or 20 percent, it would be a huge blow to the RATS. It would keep MI, PA, WI, OH, FL and NC in his collmn in 2020 and by bigger margins than in 2016. It even bring VA into his collumn.
He can deliver the death nail to the RATS by getting Hispanic support up to 35 to 40 percent. Then NV, CO and NM would fallinto his collumn in 2020.
