I think that will take a hit with what going on with the tariffs. More Republicans are going to be upset about that than the loony left, even. I understand the actions against China but I don’t think the President should have taken on Europe and North America at the same time, unless it’ll get these countries to the negotiation quickly.

Even the administration seems divided on this issue.

The tariff issue is one that Trump can flip flop on a dime. I expect that when he gets as much as he thinks he can get he will announce that a deal has been reached.

Charging US consumers because other countries do it too is “reciprocal” but not smart. Best plan is the concept of nobody charging tariffs at all.

BTW, just learned that there are several thousand little tariffs in our trade law — thanks to our bought and paid for legislators — who have been adding these to the trade laws forever. These all need to be dropped too.

The 30 year globalist experiment in "Free Trade" is an abject failure. Why? because the rest of the of world didn't play along and used the USA like a cheap whore.

Why does the rest of the world almost universally practice protectionism? And name a country with lower average tariff rates than the USA. Answer these questions or shut up all of you globalist hacks.
