To understand Trump voters (or any other group of persons who do not share your opinions) requires that the MSM (or rather the individuals who comprise it) realize, acknowledge and accept that other viewpoints, and persons who hold them, even exist. But one of the prime characteristics of modern ‘progressive’ thought is to assume that one’s opinions are self-evident Truth, hence proven fact, settled science, irrefutable. Therefore, that anybody disagrees with them, or acts as if they do (such as voting for DJT) is incomprehensible, if they even exist.

Not to mention that the media types, rarely leave their strongholds in the Leftist metropolis cities of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. They have no idea of what rural and middle America is like.
